In this testimony, the author recounts an open vision received during a time of repentance and fasting. While lying in bed, they were spiritually approached by a tormented figure who identified himself as John Calvin, claiming he was suffering because he "did not know how to repent." The spirit pleaded that others be warned to repent fully, so they wouldn't add to his suffering. The experience left the author deeply burdened to urge others to live in true repentance and holiness, not merely through doctrine, but through a complete turning from sin, emphasizing the fear of God and the reality of judgment with supporting Scripture.
FALSE THEOLOGIAN IN HELL: “TELL YOUR FAMILY TO REPENT!”
I might not have fasted this week for Passover 2023, but yesterday the Lord compelled me to. Now on Day 2 I just received this open vision while awake:
As I lay in bed thinking about how to live penitent against all sin, and how I need to be careful to make it thorough and not a flawed repentance, and leave not even a slight window or tendency, I was shocked to be approached by a barely visible person of a horrific countenance [this was seen only with spiritual eyes, not like it changed my setting at all].
This person looked at me with wild, bulging eyes and a body emaciated and ruined. I think its skullish face was the largest feature due to skeletonizing of some sort, and I don’t think there was much hair on its head and no beard. I could not see the other details such as gender or what this being could mean. Its facial expression showed suffering, however, so I began to suspect that it might not be a demon.
I began to pray. The apparition said with desperation, “I am John Calvin.”
I could only freeze and begin to fumble between prayer and thoughts of trying for a conversation. He then said,
“I am here because I did not know how to repent.”
As for me it was just harrowing alarm that continued to own the moment.
“Tell your family to repent so that they do not add to my suffering.”Not knowing what else to do for a condemned soul I said, “I forgive you.” And I prayed the Lord not hold his errors and that influence over my life against him. The prayer for his alleviation gave me a washing sense of relief down my back.
I now report the experience I have had and I ask you to consider carefully how you understand the Word of God. We must all live truly in fear of judgment as He is no respecter of any person.
SCRIPTURAL EXHORTATIONS
- “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.” Hebrews 4:1
- “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1
- “Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.” Romans 11:19-22
- “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:26-31
Please make sure you repent fully, and not simply for doctrines.
Repent means to TURN and keep away!Walk with God as He wants you to. All immorality must go!
Repentance requires diligence in prayer to surrender whatever is holding you back, but then it’s easy to get the hang of. God sets us free from slavery to sin when we pursue Him for this freedom.
